Grana Padano DOP is a typical Italian cheese, produced in full compliance with the policy of the PDO Protection Consortium. It is produced using only cow’s milk from the farms of the Po Valley.
To qualify for PDO certification, the cheese must age for at least nine months.
It can be used grated as an ingredient for meat or vegetable fillings, in baked or au gratin dishes. It is also excellent on pasta, risotto, and soups.
Delicious on its own, its intense taste and soft structure make it the perfect accompaniment to any meal, enhancing any dish: from meat carpaccio to vegetables and eggs. It can also be enjoyed with fruits chutney, honey, or desserts.
